Abraham Lincoln once said, “Give me 6 hours to chop down a tree and I’ll spend the first 4 sharpening the axe.” He was a wise man. God says, “If the ax is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength; But wisdom brings success” (Ecc. 10:10). Let’s focus today on staying sharp mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Read, listen, and learn, and expect to obtain wisdom from God. Life is too short to continue doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. Remember, it only takes one God-inspired idea to change your world.
