We all experience change and transition in life. God calls it “seasons.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” Sometimes life is exciting, dynamic, and we feel on top of the world. At other times we just want to go away and escape our situation. King David once said, “Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest” (Ps. 55:6).

If we do not understand that there are seasons in life, we may draw the wrong conclusions about what is happening to us. God has a plan and a purpose to make your life beautiful and amazing. The bible is clear, “He has made everything beautiful in its time” (Ecc. 1:11 ).

God has us all in His process. We can’t see the scope of God’s work from beginning to end. We are too short sighted. Good seasons come and go, as do hard seasons. Hard seasons do not last forever. Change is always on its way. Like a coin with two sides, life has a way of changing from one side of the coin to another. Embrace your season. Let’s learn all we can in our present season. God is preparing each of us for our next season.
