Two Sundays ago I ministered in Kampala, Uganda, last week in Nairobi Kenya, and today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Three different cities in two completely different parts of the world, but with so much in common. Each country is facing troubling times including potential corruption in government, yet in each country I met amazing believers in Christ experiencing the Kingdom of God expanding in their nation.

Nations and governments will come and go, but our God and His Kingdom will continue to grow. So let’s purpose in our hearts today to give ourselves completely to those things that are eternal, because whatever is of this earth is quickly passing away.

In Daniel chapter 2, the young prophet Daniel interpreted a dream for the King of Babylon. He told the king of a rock in his dream that was supernaturally cut out that became a huge mountain that filled the whole earth. He was speaking prophetically about the kingdom of our God of which we are a vital part today.

Be encouraged. Regardless of what goes on around us, we are a part of the kingdom of our God. It is a Kingdom that cannot be shaken (Heb. 12:28). One out of every three persons living on planet earth today is a believer in Jesus Christ, and the Kingdom of our God continues to grow at an astonishing rate. Let’s keep our eyes on that which is eternal.
