Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Faith is a choice, not an emotion. We all have faith, but each of us makes the personal choice as to where we place our faith. Billy Graham chose to place his complete faith and trust in Jesus Christ and in the bible as the word of God. I have chosen to do the same, and I have not looked back. Faith in the truth brings great peace and hope for all of eternity. Martin Luther said, “Faith is a living and unshakable confidence.” And God says, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Rom. 10:17).

Faith is a voice. We believe and therefore we speak. Hold fast to the confession of your faith without wavering, for He is faithful that promised. Faith is an act based on the facts of God’s Holy Word. Faith is a Law which God designed to always work. Faith comes by an intimate relationship in fellowship with God, where you hear His voice. Faith is a spirit that lives and moves in the will of God. Faith is knowing God. Faith is being fully persuaded that God is able to perform what He has promised. Faith rests in God’s unfailing faithfulness, and perfect unconditional love.

We are made in the image and likeness of God. He is Spirit. We, who are believers, are recreated spirits, we have a soul, and we live in a body. Our recreated spirit (the real me) will live with Him forever, and our spirit has no color.
