For example, I have learned that if I feel overwhelmed with too much on my plate, I simply make a list of everything I need to do. Then I prioritize the list, and begin with the first thing on the list. I often start with the hardest thing on my list, because I know if I can complete the most difficult task staring me in the face, it gives me momentum to move on to the next item. It’s a bit like eating an elephant, one bite at a time. It just takes one small step to move off center. It reminds me of Psalm 37:23 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord.”
It just takes one small step
