We are all called to some type of leadership, and it begins with leading ourselves. Leadership does not need to be complex. Jesus exemplified amazing leadership built on simple leadership principles. He set an example to follow, and then opened doors for those he led. He told his disciples, “He who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do because I go to my Father (John 14:12).” True leaders have mastered the simple leadership principle of opening doors for those they lead. They create opportunities. It’s as simple as that! And when we stay focused on this, everything else falls into place.
