Down through the ages, God has given his people visions and revelation that clarify their calling and deepen their faith. Because visions and revelation can sometimes be symbolic and thus misinterpreted, many in Western Christianity do not take visions and supernatural revelation seriously. Others look for God in the wrong places without discernment and get involved in spiritual phenomena that open them up to the deceptions of the enemy. But just because visions and supernatural revelation have caused confusion for some in the Body of Christ today, does not mean that we should dismiss them. We need to hear from God. Remember, all revelation must line up with the Word of God. We see countless examples in both the Old and New Testaments of people receiving guidance from God through visions and supernatural revelation. The Bible tells us in the last days that young men will see visions and old men will dream dreams (Acts 2:17). Let’s expect to hear from God today. One word from God will change your life forever!
