DOVE Europe Apostolic Team Leaders

On November 18, 2022, Ron Myer transferred the leadership of the DOVE Europe apostolic team to Dirk and Hanneke Develing. Dirk and Hanneke reside in the Netherlands and have served faithfully on the DOVE Europe team for the past three years. While Ron has provided leadership to DOVE Europe for the past 10 years, the time has come to see DOVE Europe led by Europeans! The DOVE leaders agree that Dirk and Hanneke are called to this role and were commissioned to serve at the 2022 DOVE Europe leaders gathering. This is an exciting time for DOVE Europe, and we look forward to all that the Lord will do in the coming months and years.

The apostolic team includes Peter Bunton, Larry Kreider, and Ron Myer. In November of 2021, we hosted a virtual DOVE Europe regional leaders gathering and conference, connecting with leaders across Europe.

Pray:

  • for new creative ways to reach the people of Europe with the gospel.
  • that we would be able to connect with those who are called to be part of DOVE Europe.
  • for church planters as well as established churches who are called to be part of the DOVE Europe family.
  • that everyone would grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ and walk in the fullness of the gospel, impacting their world.

Bulgaria

We thank God for the new people added to our church in 2022 and for their changed lives. God has also positioned us in a key position to help Ukrainian refugees and make a difference in our society. In the beginning of 2023 in our 21 days of prayer and fasting we had over 100 people every morning for prayer at 7am in ZOOM.

Pray: 

  • God will give us wisdom how to continue reaching people with the gospel in effective ways
  • for a fresh release of the supernatural among us
  • for God’s wisdom to continue to grow strong churches
  • that the impact of the church will grow in our city and nation.

We thank God for increasing the church. We were able to start building our own church building.

Pray for:

  • finances to complete the church building.
  • wisdom on how to reach and disciple people for Christ.
  • a new venue to meet in. The church is growing, and it seems we will need a new venue while the one we are building will be for smaller gatherings.

We are grateful for the genuine care shown by the DOVE global family! We feel it and experience it deeply. We are inspired! We are grateful to God that in these uneasy times He protects us in body, soul, and spirit.

  • Pray for new people to be added as the church multiplies. We have already started some online projects; pray for strategies and plans how to serve the new people effectively online.
  • There is a brand new “oikos” consisting of 8 families (16 adults plus children). We need fresh and clear strategy for them. They can be described under 3 categories:
    • spiritual orphans without a spiritual home
    • active God servants. With them we can start training with Discovery Bible Studies
    • people who have a spiritual home but already have Discovery Bible Study with unbelievers. We have mentored this group every Monday for the last 9 months.
  • As a whole there is great spiritual hunger! Pray God’s help to respond according to His will! Pray for wisdom as to how to take care of these families. Shall we plant a new church or add them to the body of DOVE Sofia?
  • We need a venue to congregate. Pray God grants His wisdom for the right place which will be large enough to accommodate all the people He will add to His body!
  • That throughout 2022 each person from our family will discover the person of peace and start a Discovery Bible Study group.
  • For the existing churches in Sofia, Velingrad, Sandanski, and Lester (UK) will continue to grow with the life of God.

  • us to give Jesus priority in our lives.
  • for leaders to serve together in leading the church in the Netherlands.
  • us to connect with persons of peace in order to plant new churches in the Netherlands, Europe, and worldwide.
  • us to have creative ideas in growing and leading our businesses.
  • us to develop a training program for “mission and business.”
  • us to have wisdom according to the biblical principle of sowing the fruit of our businesses.
