There are so many voices today. In order to not be deceived, we should be like the Bereans. They checked whether the interpretation Paul put on the Old Testament Scriptures was true (Acts 17:10-12). They tested everything by the written Word of God. We should do the same. The Bible says that Satan comes to us like an angel of light (2 Cor. 11:14). The written Word of God is our standard to be sure that the revelation we are receiving is in line with the perfect will of God. Reading the Bible is an essential way to hear God’s voice. It is certainly an accurate method and one in which you and I need to be hearing from our heavenly Father on a daily basis. He loves you, and He wants to speak to you through His Word.
